| The Trust/Annuity Program: This
trust fund plan is sponsored by a local bank. It allows those wishing to make
low monthly payments into a tax-free trust. Each account is maintained under
the purchasers name & social security number. Richardson Funeral Home can
only collect these funds at the time of the death of the trust holder. This
protects the purchaser from the funeral home manipulating these funds in order
to expand their business. Each account is insured by the
FDIC. Insurance funding: This program is designed for those who wish to make lump sum payments or monthly payments. For those who make a lump sum payment, the insurance program offers an increased amount over the amount actually paid in by the owner. Residual moneys left over are paid to next of kin. Each account follows the same basic guidelines as the trust and is also tax free. Cemetery Assistance: Richardson Funeral Home will assist families in locating affordable cemetery space for burial. Our funeral home has a working relationship with many local cemeteries. This will ensure that families be dealt with the same professionalism as our firm. Public Speaking Programs: Richardson's gives presentation to universities, schools, senior groups and social clubs. Our staff discusses funeral related matters along with legal advice on wills & estate planning. If you would like us to give a presentation feel free to call our office for more details. Service Throughout The Delaware Valley: Richardson's has associated locations throughout the Delaware Valley and in certain parts of New Jersey. For families who wish to utilize our services in other parts of our area, we can have services from their church, cemetery or nursing home chapel or utilize the facilities of a local representative funeral home. Families are asked to contact us ahead of time if possible, so that we may arrange any details. Medical ID Card Program: Richardson's has developed medical information cards that can be carried in a wallet or handbag. These ID cards display important medical information in case of an emergency. These cards are free of charge and should be used as a source of secondary information. Please call for an application. Grief Recovery & Aftercare: In support of the families we have served, our funeral home offers assistance in grief facilitation, acknowledgment & recovery. We provide this service through our Grief Newsletters, information on local support groups and combined effort with family clergy. Memorial Tree Planting Program: Pur memorial tree program is exclusive throughout the Philadelphia area. Our program is a part of our service and care to the families we serve and our commitment to the community and environment. We facilitate this program through the Lofty Oaks Association.
